Find the range.
Frequency determines which part of the sound a band changes. Low frequencies are on the left, high frequencies on the right. The scale is logarithmic: each successive section covers a wider frequency range.
Interactive diagram: bands change the frequency balance, while points define precise adjustments. To configure the application, open the step-by-step instructions.
Explore the equalizer ↓The familiar screen. Glowing nodes sit on the equalizer's combined curve.
In the scene: arrow keys adjust frequency and gain; Page Up / Page Down select a band. Shift increases the step.

The same frequencies, gain and filter shapes as in the SHIKARDOS parametric equalizer.

Gain sets the boost or cut. The node sits on the combined PEq curve: you see both the selected band and the influence of the others.
For a bell, a higher Q narrows its effect. For a shelf, a separate S parameter controls the transition slope. CRYSTAL and GRAVITY have their own curves.
The PEq responses and CRYSTAL/GRAVITY profiles are calculated from the application's filter coefficients at 48 kHz. The moving spectrum is a synthetic learning signal: a visual explanation with no playback and no changes to your player's settings. The page examples are designed to introduce the controls.
“Bypass” flattens this model's combined response while keeping the knob settings. Individual curves remain visible for comparison. In this mode, knobs retain and change their settings, while nodes can be dragged again after processing is restored. A disabled band can be adjusted with the knobs and enabled again.
Find your model, choose a sound character and download a settings file to import into the player.
