3D scene library
The 3D ORBITAL and equalizer scenes use Three.js version 0.186.1, distributed under the MIT license. A copy of the license, including its copyright notice, is included on the site.
Graphics and interface
The ORBITAL 3D body, diagrams and visual design were created for this website. The scene demonstrates the control principle; it is not an image of a physical device. SHIKARDOS interface screenshots come from project materials, with original files preserved unchanged. Diagrams and prepared illustrations are labeled separately.
Scenes and their sources
- ORBITAL. Original geometry and a control model based on project formulas: five sides of sound and six image parameters. Readings explain the controls; the scene does not process music or photographs.
- Equalizer. An original 3D reconstruction of the SHIKARDOS interface's graphic layers: grid, spectrum, curves and nodes. Band and profile responses are calculated using the project model. The moving spectrum is a synthetic learning signal, not a recording or measurement of music. No audio processing takes place in this scene.
- FLOW. An original SVG scene with five flows. Inflow, passage and effective contributions are calculated using the ORBITAL model; moving light illustrates them. Settings stay within the demonstration.
- Yuri's keyboard. An original arrangement of seven gray and five colored keys. Its geometry and interaction were created for this site. A separate button enables quiet synthesized notes; no recordings of other people's works are used. These notes' pitches do not set the equalizer frequencies.
- Inside the Radar. Original SVG graphics and learning scenarios with six example sources A–F. This explains the indicators: there are no stations, stream addresses, playback or network measurements in the scene.
- Edition, download and project history use original SHIKARDOS diagrams, transitions and materials. The television's visual response to remote commands is an explanatory model; it does not connect a device to the network.
The parametric EQ calculations use Robert Bristow-Johnson's coefficient formulas, described in the Audio EQ Cookbook on the W3C website. Calculation and rendering for this site are independently implemented.
Interface images come from SHIKARDOS materials: phone — a frame from stable release 1.2.3; car — 1.2 update materials; television — a prepared site illustration; remote — a frame from a test branch. Yuri's artistic image comes from an existing project section. Captions distinguish actual screens, prepared illustrations and device diagrams.
Application information
Feature descriptions are based on project materials and source-code checks. Feature sets depend on the device and version. The download page lists the verification date and specific releases, with separate beta labels.
Your materials
SHIKARDOS provides playback and processing tools. Users add music, video, photographs and their own sources. This website does not contain catalogs of other people's channels or stations.
How this website version works
Interactive diagrams and guide search run in your browser. The guide remembers your selected device path in this browser's local storage; the preference is not sent to a server. This version has no data-submission forms, third-party analytics, advertising scripts or external fonts. Scenes do not open your files, camera, microphone or USB devices. Keyboard audio is generated in the browser and enabled by a separate button. Download links and other links open the specified SHIKARDOS pages, stores, repositories or component documents.
Solar lighting calculates the Sun's position directly in your browser. Arkhipo-Osipovka is used by default. The “Light for my location” button requests the browser's built-in location service only after your action and permission. Coordinates are rounded to 0.01°, are not sent to the SHIKARDOS server, and remain in tab storage until the tab is closed, for no more than a day. If permission is refused or an error occurs, Arkhipo-Osipovka is used. The day-preview mode is stored temporarily in this tab for no more than an hour; “Now” restores the current sunlight.
The counter at the bottom of the site obtains total visits and downloads through the existing api/site-numbers.php endpoint. Solar lighting does not send location to this counter. Lighting calculations use no IP lookup, external weather services or astronomical requests.
