The contour is calculated at 48 kHz from the SHIKARDOS profile coefficients. The flowing surface illustrates this response. The probe measures the selected frequency; it does not move the filter frequencies. This page produces no audio and does not access your music.
CRYSTAL combines a gentle cut in the lower midrange, a small boost higher up and a high shelf. It changes the frequency balance; it cannot restore information absent from the recording.
Start at 70%, the profile's default value. Move the probe toward higher frequencies, watch the gain and compare with zero. Choose the final setting by ear.
