Presets and headphones

How to find, download and apply settings for your headphones.

Website presets: download and apply

Website preset → player

  1. On the “Presets” page, find your exact headphone model. If several measurements are available, choose the variant you need.
  2. Choose a character, such as NATURAL, and tap “Download .txt”. Note where your browser saves the file. If you downloaded it on a computer, transfer the file to your phone.
  3. On Android, enable PEq in “Build your SHIKARDOS”. Open Equalizer → Presets → “Import AutoEq”.
  4. Select the downloaded .txt. The player saves it as your preset, switches to PEq and applies the curve. Check the import message: it indicates if any filters were not transferred.
  5. Compare a familiar passage at a comfortable volume. If you hear no change, check “CLEAN” and the audio path.

You can also do this without the website: the player's presets include “Find headphones”. If “Import AutoEq” is missing, first check that PEq is enabled in your build.

AudioDNA — a separate adjustment

AudioDNA in Settings helps adapt the sound to your hearing. Follow the test in a quiet room with your usual headphones. The profile depends on the headphones and conditions; you can reset it and take the test again.

The result

The website preset will appear in the player's PEq. Selecting a curve in the browser alone does not change the app's settings.
